Kiwanis Incredible Duck Splash
"Duck Buddies - The Worthy Causes for which the Funds Are Used"
Since funds raised by the Kiwanis Club of Glendale are used for the mission of its 501(c)(3) foundation Glendale Kiwanis Youth, Inc., to improve the community, we have chosen to give many of our beneficiaries and other agencies and non-profit organizations the opportunity to participate in this unique FUNdraiser to bring in revenue for themselves and we invite all such groups in Los Angeles County to share in the excitement (and publicity).
Highlights of the opportunity for our "duck buddies" are: NO INVESTMENT, NO MAXIMUM, just invite your members, staff, supporters, and friends to ADOPT DUCKS for a chance to win great prizes to benefit YOUR organization or cause. While a minimum earnings of $250 has been established, the top three non-profits and top three schools will again each earn a bonus in 2008, with the #1 in both categories earning 65% of their duck adoptions, #2 - 60%, and #3 - 55%, with the remainder still at the lucrative 50% of their adoptions total revenue.
